Thousands of controls?

I thought we determined it was more like 80-120 in Total?

We do know for sure only 22 tests in the USA during a ten year period, making him one of LEAST tested American pro riders, that much we do know.

Armstrong is attempting once again to unsmear his torn legacy by visiting the
Coalition Armed Forces in Iraq. He seem's to be trying to dupe the Public now into believing that he is some kind of humanitarian.

Maybe you should wait for the investigation to conclude and remember that people are innocent until proven guilty.

No, that's what a criminal court (or "the State") should do. People are innocent if they are actually innocent. We, as individuals on an internet forum, can discuss guilt and innocence as matters of opinion.

Just a shame that anyone with the opposite opinion to 'Pharmstrong' and all that nonsense is just shouted down as some sort of small brained 'lover' whose been brainwashed by 'the armstrong media machine'. You'd think it would make the argument more convincing without all the insults.

Good to see its gone from "hundreds" to "thousands".

My god he must have been tested 14 times a day!

Going by that account "thousands" he must have been tested secretly by Kristen while Lance was asleep.

Is this true? People get tested more than that working in some crappy office job. God help you if you smoke a bit of pot after your 9-5 is over.

Could you give a specific example of an valid opinion that has been "Shouted down"?

Most of the posters here can and do argue their point of view in a constructive manner. Only problem is there are quite a few posters who are of the opinion that Armstrong is purer than driven snow who keep coming up with the same logic to rebuff every allegation. After a while it is just like a stuck record, one can only reset the needle so many times before you throw it in the bin.

Fair enough, but if one were to walk into a room of Livestrong wristband-wearing groupies wearing Radio Shack outfits and make a cogent, logical, argument that Armstrong doped, one would probably be stoned to death, with no discussion. Or in the case of a forum administered by someone friendly to LA, you would be banned after your first post.

Yes, we discussed it here. Links showing how little Lance was tested are in the thread.

Edit - I love how the number of tests keeps going up. Back in September, we were debunking the idea that LA had 500 tests. Now it's supposedly in the thousands. He must be needing to mark his territory again after Valverde infringed on his trademark by claiming to be the most tested athlete himself. :p

Just a real shame that arguments that can not be disproved (until otherwise demonstrated) are based on the weakest rational, in this case Armstrong's innocence since he has not been officially condemned in court.

Yet the arguments based upon the evidence against him, are far more compelling than the morons who simply dismiss them as anti-fan hatred.

However in our case when two explanations are offered: that is either he raced clean on raw determination and hard work agianst an otherwise doped field that wasn't exactly slauching in training and preparation and won (beating them all soundly), or he was quite frankly simply on the sauce too; one must discard the one that explains the least, or explains nothing at all, or raises more questions than it does answers.
