Thank you jmdirt. The only option I am given is to join for unlimited articles but there is a big yearly charge. Before yesterday I was reading a lot of articles at the click of a button. Now I guess I'm only allowed to read 5 a month.

I personally have found for no reason in particular many Cycling News writings to be above average.. all of the sudden. Article about interplay between Vuelta race protests, Spanish culture and sports..excellent.. Article about rider weight.. Excellent .article about the realities of Continental level racing. A short article about specific prep for racing in Africa which is a racing rarity for WT pros other than Chris Froome. Excellent.
I just find it very positive that editors are looking outside framework of racing that will taper off in winter to find interesting things to write about until spring racing rolls around. Job well done.
Possible subject about Chinese names in bike brands.. Wheeltop wasted no time in absorbing Rotor under it's umbrella to immediately rebranding their stuff with a slightly more recognized cycling name. Rotor was always boutique.. Quirky chainrings..but lots of brands that had market share decades previous like Sachs, Cinelli, Modollo, Mavic all have lost their way. Cinelli and Mavic, went from being on every pro bike and most serious amateur bikes to being rarely seen at all.. Galli gone..Huret hiding..wonder if China could just do themselves a favor by purchasing the history and reusing the brands.. Brush the dust off.
Also CN might make coaches challenge.. Get 2 or 3 trainers, have them make training plans for a few volunteers and see where people land after following their plans.
