No, in big Contador target races he generally delivers. However in all other events he appears pretty useless.

and? he isn't good on a time trial bike and would probably only hurt the team if he had to take turns so very likely he just gave a big pull giving everything right at the start to get the team going. many teams tho this with bad time trialist.

besides that's not his job, his job is to protect contador on the flat which he has been doing well for a while like in the vuelta 2011 when he was always there on flat stages. i really think noval is massively underrated. i would rather have him protecting me on flat stages then the entire rabobank tour team . . .
