Which one of these two will achieve cycling immortality first? I'm tipping Sagan, although the Dutch fans will obviously talk up Bauke Mollema.

And probably neither will ever gain cycling immortality, but if I'm forced to pick one who is most likely to gain this honour, it would have to be Sagan

Sagan is a neo pro, but chances are he's had more years as a cyclist than Mollema, who won the Tour de l'Avenir only two years after his first race, and turned pro the next year. So obviously, Mollema for total world domination.hrotha said:Mollema is like 4 years older and Sagan is a frickin' neo-pro. Seriously.
And Mollema isn't from Colombia.Ryo Hazuki said:Mollema is again a limited rider that can't follow explosive attacks. not to mention his abysmal itt

Just pointing out your bias against anything Dutch.Ryo Hazuki said:your (lack of) arguments grow tiresome.
Dekker_Tifosi said:All riders not from Colombia are limited, duh.
Except Vino and Ricco.
Anyway, like the youngest said, Mollema only rides a bike since 6(?) years, he was a football player (and not a good one) before that.
But if we take this discussion seriously, there is no comparison, as Sagan is a completely different rider.

All that at the age of 6. You dutch sure must start cycling really early, and be really good at judging talent if you can spot if someone is going to be good at football, about 3 years after they learn to walk.
As to the discussion. Surely it should be Sagan vs ebh. Oh if the Australians want to take the **** out of the dutch hyping up Mollema, perhaps the dutchies should create a thread asking "who is the star of the future, Peter Sagan or Richie Porte", because Mollema is a lot better (and younger) than Porte.
Sagan is a good talent, but talent and some success at 20 do not guarantee success at 30. Just last year Ebh was the next Mercx, now hes getting dropped by the green jersey on climbs. I think Sagan could be a great classics specialist. MSR and cobbled classics suit him and his climbing aint bad, improve on that and he might just be the one to get the grand slam of monuments.
Oh. And people thought Frank Schleck was a great prospect, and then they heard his brother was even better. Perhaps with Sagan it will be the same. His brother is apparently quite good as well.
I was once asked if I "want to spoon?" instead of do you want a spoon? in Poland. Awesome.Big GMaC said:'Since 6 years' is the Euro syntax for 'for 6 years' i.e. He has only been a bike ride since 6 years/for 6 years
Edit: Oh yeah , Sagan FTW

Move over Contador! BAUKY IS HERE!!!!!!!Dekker_Tifosi said:No wrong, all wrong! The great Bauke Mollema cannot fail.
