I'll go for Paternoster - She crashed in Sunday's race and had to chase back to the peleton which dulled her sprint - In saying that it's wide open.

Sure, she shouldn't be discounted either. The same goes for Daria Pikulik, if she's still in good shape after the track EC.

It seems that things are heating up at the moment. A group, that may have four HPH riders in it, has a one minute lead after 42 km.

Henttala's been dropped due to a puncture, and FDJ are making it hard for her to come back.

And now a crash takes out Pikulik and Fidanza. 5 km left.

Bastianelli attacks on the cobbles and is followed by Confalonieri.
It looks like they will hold on, unless they start playing games.

Bastianelli tricked Confalonieri into the lead and easily won the sprint. Guazzini looked fast and finished third, so perhaps FDJ should have backed her instead of attacking earlier.

I assume it was because of crashes, but I've never seen such a Dour team celebration like UAE's before.

Confalonieri was riding for UCI points - No finessing on her behalf when the leaders had time - My selection, Paternoster was 20 metres off joining the two leaders when they broke away on the final cobbled section - Better to bust your boiler trying for the win, rather than sitting back and sprinting for third.
