Below Freezing Gloves

Soft gloves that bend effortlessly, don't constrain, and can be chucked into the washing machine without thought, and that are good below freezing.

Any ideas?

For extreme cold temp riding, I wore 'snowmobile' mittens with long cuffs.
There are probably some ski gloves/mittens that would be good.

Much depends on how much below freezing of course, but for rides just below freezing I use my crosscountry ski gloves. They protect from the wind and cold but still leave me some manual dexterity to shift.
