I think he would’ve won the stage if he had ridden the last 5 km as fast a possible (riding more for GC!), and not played games with stop and go.Yet again I think he could have won the stage if he was ignoring GC
And to celebrate pretty much does nothing on the final stage....I had hopes for you on this stage, Ben.Healy is awarded most combative rider for the tour.
I think I heard that right.
Maybe Pogi skip Strade next year.A medal at Worlds, to go with a TdF stage win and GC top 10 and a few days in yellow. And a stage at Itzulia, too. It’s been a big year for Ben.
He needs a classic win, and a Vuelta stage. He can probably get a GC podium in one of the GTs if he picks the right one in the right year.
If it wasn’t for Pogacar winning all the big races without giving anyone else a look-in, Healy would be battling it out with the likes of Pidcock, Skjelmose, Ciccone, Vauquelin in some seriously exciting races.
I wonder if he might skip Flèche and Amstel. Would be great to see someone like Healy take a win in one of them.Maybe Pogi skip Strade next year.
