Is Colbrelli made for this parcours?
Either Hirschi still doesn't have the legs or his behaviour is stupid.
Well we all know Asgreen was killed by the 5 km chase he had to do yesterday
Colbrelli looks strong here, and the cooperation has broke down behind now.
Colbrelli can win anything these days apart from a pure sprint.
Feels like it's less Bahrain being freakishly strong and more the competition being hugely disappointing today. What on earth has happened to AG2R lately, for example?Tbf, I'm pretty sure he went heavily into the red on that chase.
But I just expect better from all those guys when someone like Campanaerts is following it. The pace cannot be that high on that climb when that's happening.
He can't time trial and he can only podium mountain stages.

Does Campenaerts realize he's losing the GC here
I wish this race would have 2 stages in the Ardennes and cobbles each. Increase length of ITT too.
Nothing is ever remotely decent no. In a stage race of a week I do think 4 sprints are a bit much.Nothing is ever good enough, right?
I think the fact that the third group only lost a minute is proof that the second group didn't ride very smartly or they could have been close to catching him.

Agree, a few more GC relevant stages and my interest in this race would increase dramatically. This is the first stage I have watched since I dont really consider sprints interesting at all. Thanks. I have the perfect job (postman) for watching cycling in Europe, usually getting back between 1500 and 1600 (CET). Am really hoping catch the last hour of tomorrow's stage
