Euskaltel really isn't the greatest at national champs jerseys, here's robert vrecer's slovenian jersey:

Not so sure on Freddie's, any photo with bibs too?

Here you go. Looks like standard JB shorts, or the colors just really don't match. And then there's the paint job on the bike...

It doesn't look like Jelly Belly had a kit ready for Freddie. The FF on the sleeve is his personal logo from his clothing line.

Yeah Fast Freddie Apparel 2 week turnaround time VS Pactimo 5 week turnaround time :)

RadioShack-Leopard now has the reigning Belgian champion. I'm sure the jersey will be terrible. Maybe it will look like the German one with the stripes changed around? :(

Or is Belgium one of the federations which enforces a proper jersey?

From the National champ thread.

I even think there are some rules the Belgian jersey has to comply to.

Hoping this is true, anyone know if so? And if there are rules what are they?

This is the day I created this thread for

Let's keep it on the front page as the new jerseys emerge. Hopefully some belters and some tragic designs :D

My expectations:

Movistar-Spain: we know this will be chronic.
Radioshack-Belgium: for the first time ever I truly fear for an awful Belgian champion's kit. It would be so easy to make a good one with Radioshack's colours too.
Lotto-Germany: Apart from Radioshack, surely nobody can screw up a German kit. It won't be as nice as Wegmann's Gerolsteiner one or Reimer's Cervélo one, probably, but should still be all class, white jersey with national flag bands.
FDJ-France: Vichot will probably get the same as Bouhanni, no?
BMC-Italy: jersey should be all class, I just fear they'll go with the red shorts again like they did with Gilbert's Belgian kit.
OPQS-UK: UK jersey is pretty restrictive in design if I recall correctly. That's probably why even Movistar couldn't completely ruin it, although it's not the greatest looking jersey in the world anyhow. Quick Step are usually good with champions' kits, so this ought to be at least decent.
Vacansoleil-Netherlands: we've seen what this will look like in the past, haven't we?
Efapel-Portugal: Should be pretty classy, but then Efapel are pretty neon coloured, so could be a total eyesore. We'll have to wait and see.
Lithuania-Orica: I think this will work well unless they go the Movistar/Radioshack route and fill the green part of the jersey with the stripes. Should look at their Aussie champion kits for inspiration imo.
Ireland-Champion System: same as the old one.
Slovakia-Cannondale: same as the old one, sadly.
Czech Republic-NetApp: hopefully a traditional job, don't know what to expect.
Norway-BMC: Ought to be all class. All Norwegian kits except the white ones with the flag on tend to be good.
Poland-OPQS: Didn't they have this last year too, so ought to be the same?
Denmark-Saxo: They ought to have the experience of making good Danish champs' kits.
Russia-Katyusha: Likewise.
Switzerland-BMC: And again.
Luxembourg-Radioshack: ugh.
Croatia-Radioshack: Probably ugh, just a flag in the jersey as per other horrible Radioshack kits. First time we see the jersey in the pro péloton in years, and we're going to get a Radioshack kit.
Greece-Euskaltel: Probably just as ugly as his TT kit.
Japan-Europcar: this could be interesting.

Yep, should be a good one.

2nd bolded: Michael Golas last year.

Looking forward to seeing BMC's Italian and Norwegian kits myself. Will be interesting to see what Lotto come out with, they haven't had a national champ since they parted with Omega Pharma.
Radioshack's gonna have 6 national champ jersey's to design. When you have that many national champs it should be a rule your not allowed to just put some small bands across the front.

That's true, sad, but true. Oh why can't every team just follow OPQS's and BMC's example.

The Belgian federation might well oppose an invisible jersey à la Laurent Didier, it is within their rights. The Luxembourg federation threatened to oppose Fränk Schleck's jersey from LEOPARD TREK, but in the end didn't. But I have a feeling the Belgians will be much less lenient.

Also if indeed next year Trek takes over from Becca, the whole Leopard side of it will be gone, including the design I assume, so we can hope for better jerseys.
