This is nice to see, Radioshack has an actual national jersey. I only have screenshots from a Sporza video, so please forgive me for the quality of the pictures.

Very nice, I was fearing the worst. And thank you Belgian federation! I wish ever country had rules for what their jerseys need to look like, like Belgium do.

Impey's jersey also look good.

Most national jerseys don't carry the prestige the Belgian one does, and if the federations insisted on rules like that the country's top riders might not even start in the national championships (which they often don't anyway).

National federations should be more insisting!

Agree with that, especially by keeping in mind those fans who are not following everyday cycling and so can recognize the national champions more easily.

I'd say the best/worst example is the Cannondale style jersey where you can basically only see that a rider is national champion if you're flying over the peloton...

But I really dislike the Cannondale style jersey, so I might be slightly biased...

I can understand that main sponsors want their top riders wearing their own colors, but you have to remind that sports like cycling have casual viewers (the ones who follow just when Giro or Tour are on tv) so a proper national jersey could attract more attention and more easy to spot.

I think they did the same they did with Dowsett and the bottom part of the skinsuit will be typical Movistar colours

Still it could be much worse considering what they did with the spanish and italian road champ jerseys . . .

I feel like there are a lot of these plain white kits with a flag across it, it is getting a bit repetitive

Yea, but plain white with the flag across it is the classic Portuguese jersey, and that's how the Portuguese jersey SHOULD look. As a rough indicator:

Giant tricolors: France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Estonia, Spain (if applicable), Hungary
White with flag bands: Germany, Austria, Portugal, Poland (+national emblem), Lithuania, Latvia
Either/or: Italy, Russia
White with national colours but not flag: UK, Australia, South Africa, Ireland
National colours full jersey: Slovenia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Canada
Full jersey flag: Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, USA

Thanks, Libertine - it's probably just because we've been seeing a lot of Greipel, Cavendish and Kwiatkowski lately
