Wiggo's shouldn't even qualify. It's not a throw at all. I'm sure he'd have liked to have thrown the bike, but he simply doesn't have the upper body strength to lift it. Sky's weight loss regimen undermines him here.

Wonder what the bike co. prez feels like when he sees the $8-12k bike toss, Specialized, Pinarello.... :D

(The Pinarello's asymmetric: must have kept it upright, he's thinking. Superior balance!)

Anyone have some vid. of a rider tossing a Trekkie Burke-mobile, Live and Strong? That would be be fun!

Very nice bikethrow this day by Wiggo. Some say that it is the best throw ever, but is it really? There is a big competition against notorious bikethrowers such as Mr 60%, David Millar and king Cav himself Let's vote!!

1)Wiggo at Trentino '13

love millars pure anger, but wiggins one propping up against the wall sheer brillance

I like the Riis throw.

He tosses it... and then seems to realize... well, that's really childish. He walks to the bike, refuses a replacement, puts the chain back and goes on his way.

Millar's throw is by far the most understandable. He was having a very good chance of winning the stage, busts his balls (literally). I imagine I would have a red veil in front of my eyes as well.

Wiggins is a bit halfhearted disgust which turns out funny, but no real heart in it.

Cav is just disrespectful. The bike is not to blame, so why toss it? The mechanics are already overworked, so why do this. He had some time to reflect before he came at the bus, so there's no spur of the moment excuse. Throwing his toys out of the pram. The only defence I see is that someone like Cav gets strength out of being a sore loser.

I love the Riis throw for these reasons. The way that he is walking after the bike from the moment it leaves his arms is quite amusing. Three weeks of frustration in one bike throw. So furious.

Millar as well is great, was a tough call between those two. From thoughts of glory one second to extreme pain the next. Wish I could see whether or not it makes it all the way down.
