I'll repeat what I said last year with Pog instead of Bernal.
I get that such a young rider only enters one GT per season to avoid burn out, but 1 GT win + 1 GT podium > 1 GT win, no matter what GTs are on each side of the equation.

I think Pogacar disqualified himself from the win here with that stupid solo move at the Worlds. What was he thinking there, really?

I have to say Roglic. However, I can see a case made not for rider of the year, but domestic I guess. And it could go to multiple members of JV. As well as other key people on other teams like Carapaz.

Look, I like Sagan way more than Van Avermaet, but there's no chance he was the stronger one in the spring of 2017.
