Hi, everybody,
I’m from Kazakhstan (the Capital city is Astana, you know).
I would like to thanks everyone for voting Denis Menshov.
However I have a doubt about the sum of prise. Not sure but sounds as unbelievable :).
I guess the money prize doesn’t mean, just the honor by TV interview and respect.
So, don’t regret about voting .

Congratulation on the tour, you Kazakhs must be proud!

I for one do not regret voting for Menchov. We should support russian cycling in any way we can. Imagine if there would one day be a grand tour of Russia!

I think Menchov deserves the money. I hope he buys something nice. For me. :p

Menshov’s win was not easy, as well as in the TDF. Every vote was precious. We had mobilized all our friends through Eurosport forum including many post USSR counties.

Dutchism. I guess he means to say "they should have one now (i.e. have a Tour of Russia now) and only invite dopers."

Russia a "Grand Tour" NOW for dopers.

Have you been to Moskou lately?

With other words, it's a joke, but a joke is not funny when you have to explain it.

Also if you had a gt in Russia just for dopers, you would be able to hold it without stopping traffic as they have a seperate lane just for criminals (with kgb or politburo cards)

I heard they removed that in the nineties but Putin is moving Russia back to the good old days in every other way. Pretty soon it will be open again and the minor criminals of the cycling doping world will not distrupt a thing.

I trust that the fires will die out within a few months.

I was thinking about the terrain more. But since we are told quite often these days that American cycling will die shortly, expanding to the east might be the next logical step for cycling. It really can't get more corrupt than it already is anyway.
