It really depends on your focus. The Paris-Roubaix cobble best epitomizes the race. I think the trophyyou get with the maillot vert looks really cool and is fitting for a sprinter.

Honestly, A good picture taken during a champagne drenched celebration with my team would mean more to me than any trophy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Most Aggressive rider at TdF gets his body weight in cheese, and the Laterne Rouge at TdF gets a pig. Oh, what I would give to be both.

I have no idea about those two, but I do remember hearing that the winner of the Tour, aside from the afore pictured Obsidian Cup, gets his weight in champagne.

Oh, in 2010's Paris-Nice the stage winners got a discount when renting a mobile home I'm sure Contador was delighted to hear that!

The giro and tirenno's trophies are quite good. I personally find the tour's trophy a little lacklustre.

If you win a Vuelta stage in Toledo, you get a sword. Which is obviously pretty awesome.

I thought some race gave away a sword, but couldn't remember which. Anyone have a pic?

I'd take the Giro trophy, or the cobblestone. Both are unique, stunning in their own way.

While not a trophy, to be honest if I could have one prize for winning a bike race it would be an Olympic Gold medal. That would be the pinnacle to me. Maybe, just maybe over winning a Tour.

In a TV show this week Eric Vanderaerden showed the cobble he got for winning Roubaix in '87. It was a small solid-gold cobble. He said he would have rather wanted a normal cobblestone because that looked so much cooler.


/Also have to love the meter long sausage you get when you win the mountainsprint on the Grossglockner.

Millar's taking it pretty seriously in that photo, isn't he? It's not a light sabre, but it's certainly a nice addition to the mantelpiece back in Girona (and what a lovely city that is).

Seven hours of racing, then you have to lift that big trophy above your head. It's a tough old life.
