But the little things like those chicanes and the placement of the buttons and road crossing clearly show someone wasn't thinking like a cyclist.
Long rides we can drive a little further and hit the Silver Comet trail. Counting the trial it connects to in Alabama its almost 100 miles of straight fairly flat off road rail trail, with fairly minimal light controlled crossings. Busy near Atlanta, but go out a bit and its very quiet.
See a fair few people working on hard efforts on their time trial bikes in that more rural section.
