Good year for Evans, Gilbert, Contador, Cavendish. Hushovd saved his year in the Tour. Leipheimer with great form in the shorter stage races, Cobo with the Vuelta and Voeckler throughout the year. Wiggins also did well.

Disappointments were Boonen, Cancellara, Menchov, Gesink, Andy Schleck Devolder, Nibali.

Best comeback of the year : Christian Van De Velde after a horrible run of accidents and injuries.

Revelations of the year : Froome and Rolland.

Wasted Year award : Pozzato.

Except Bennati and Monfort. And guys like Sëlig.

Bennati? He had a lot of 2th places in the early part of the year. Six or something in a pariod of 2 months?

Too bad monfort loses out on the worlds TT. Allthough I heard the sporza-guys say he lost every TT to Degendt in which they both competed, I still think he is more regular and better suited for a flat TT route. Also, Degendt was also riding the RR i think? And he sees TT more as a hobby, was my impression in some interviews.

Wrong. They did have him on the reserve list though.

In terms of CQ points Bennati had a much better season than last year. I was impressed by some of his results such as second in Gent-Wevelgem and second in Tour of Denmark. It's easy to forget a severe crash cost him several months of the season because he got results from the beginning to the end. Unfortunately for a sprinter only the wins count! That's why I was really glad to see him win that Vuelta stage and I am confident for another good performance in Paris-Tours.

Monfort was the only one that really excelled though and that was great to see. Finally he got let loose and he showed them all lol. He recently decided to keep racing until Lombardy so it'll be interesting to see what he can do there. I assume he'll be stronger than Fuglsang, although the latter got 4th last year so he might be up there again.

Jakob really stepped up his ITT game though!

Kittel, Cav, Greipel, Evans, Contador, Gilbert, Cobo, Froome, Goss, Martin, EBH and Sagan. Bruyneel for getting his hands on Andy.

Cancellara ( still a great season just not up to his standard probably ), HTC as they are disbanding, Katushas' all RUSSIAN TDF team, Nibali, poor Breschel along with Vino.
