Honestly I am a fan of American riders. But I don't need to be inundated with an update on Taylor Phinney's pubes every month.
I actually found that article very informative, and it tied into my personal blog "pubes if the pro peloton" quite nicely.

Peloton magazine is a good one as is Roleur (mentioned earlier). I really love Australia's Ride magazine although of course there is the emphasis on the Aussie riders with Cadel being a deity of sorts.;) Regardless it is coffee table quality in its presentation, photography, layout, and quite wide ranging in that it has some of the best bike reviews that I've seen plus a regular section where they interview local cyclists about their regular groups that they ride with, the rides that they do and, one of my fav's, interview them about their bikes. It's only quarterly though.

Aside from the heavy Cadel focus, the other major problem with Ride is that Rob Arnold (editor/publisher) is still in awe of a certain LA.Their coverage of the latest stories/rumours etc have been virtually non-existent.

Ignore those two glaring issues and it's a pretty good mag.

Bicycling Australia isn't a bad mag these days either. If I was limited to only one of the Oz mags,I'd take BA over Ride these days.

RIDE"S tdf edition is supposed to be out by know as they said it would be out 3 weeks before the tdf.

I don't like their coverage of the doping, I don't think they do enough on it. Overall it is a good mag. I like the stories they do on international riders which are unknown. They do some good features and their tech section is also quite good.

Last year I couldn't find Ride's TdF mag until well into the first week of the tour-and I was working in a newsagency! So Lord-know's when it'll turn up this year.

I found it a week before but RIDE magazines always come out later than they say.

Indeed. On that point,I don't understand why they don't re-jig their schedule altogether.Coming out late-July,they manage a few pics from the first week of the Tour, but then wait until late October/early November to release their full Tour coverage.Who cares by then?

Move their months so that each issue comes out one month later than present and they could have full Giro,Tour and Paris-Roubaix (PR they like to hold publication for anyway) at a time that would still be relevant.
