If the Schlecks and Cancellara have a voice, it will be Shimano for sure.
Helmets: No big thing for the riders.
Helmet Marketing side: Why not stay with Bontrager and promote the new released Oracle? But maybe they can gain money from Giro/Bell ...

yes, i was guessing that bontrager is part of Trek Bikes, so Trek would like to promote "its" helmet
and as mercedes, Shimano too could have agreed for a multi year contract.

i was just wondering if the new sponsor could come as a package: nissan- shack-giro-sram

Im referring to those alu Bianchi; heard from some riders at that time that they would stop while training to check if the frame was cracked cause too flexy.

Felt is back in the game. Skil-Sjimano will be riding their frames in 2012. 3-year deal.

Like Felt

Does anyone ride Giant? I have always liked them and i have one myself.

If you are asking what pro teams ride Giant, then Rabobank is the only WorldTour team to ride Giant. Several continental teams (notably in South America and Asia) ride Giant as well.

Oh and so does Denis Menchov :D

...Also Vacansoleil probably on Bianchi

Don't fancy the dark blue-yellow-celeste combination much. i wonder what Androni will be on.

That's a coup for Felt. They'll probably win quite a bit with Kittel + Degenkolb next year.

Not a bike news but clothing; at the cyclocross in Las Vegas the Rabo guys were using Craft clothing and I guess that might be a new clothing sponsor for Rabobank 2012.

It will be funny to hear if they will have same reports as Liquigas some years ago.

They were on Batavus two years ago, so they'll think themselves lucky.

Any news on Cipollini bikes for 2012?

I think the biggest showing I saw this year was in MSR.
I'd assume Farnese Vini will still be on them, as MCipollini is a co-sponsor of the sister team (correct me if I misunderstand the relationship between the teams)... They're listed as a main sponsor on the team's website, if that helps.

I would not overrate this fact yet:
Craft is their current supplier/sponsor for casual gear and it would be quite early for testing the new clothing (if there will really be a change). This usually starts from late October.

I don't believe that Craft will equip two big teams with race clothing - maybe they exit at Leopard (contract runs until 2013).
I have not heard anything about the situation at Leopard for 2012 - maybe Nike steps in from Radio Shack.

If Cav goes to Sky, he'll have to ride Pinarello obviously, but I've always had the impression that the Venge was sort of made for him though. Anybody know anymore about that (I stress, it is just my own theory)? He certainly seems to like it a lot. I remember reading that Specialized and Mclaren are going to continue to work together though. Do Astana use the Venge at all?

Re: Cav's Pinarello bike (if he joins sky)

Russ Downing seems to fit good on the Dogma, he has a small size, and maybe a little slooping (à la Rodriguez in his caisse d'epargne days)
so Cav should get a similar frame

yes, some Astana riders do ride the Venge

It's not that he doesn't fit on a different bike, but that he might think the Venge is superior to any other bike. Wasn't he the first one in the whole peloton to ride a Venge when it was still a prototype?

Aren't QuickStep, the team with lots of former HTC riders and Brian Holm on board, changing back to Specialized next year?

Yes, and the Specialized contract of Astana expires 2011 (don't know if it will be prolonged).

Yes you are correct he consulted on it

"Cavendish was consulted during the design process, and pronounced himself delighted with the results after an unpublicised test ride in December."

Caja Rural with VIVELO bikes in 2012.

Caja Rural taking some Portuguese riders - Vivelo sponsoring a Turko-Bulgarian team right now - Bulgarians (well, Danail Petrov) having been on Portuguese teams in the past - is there a connection or am I just connecting the wrong dots?
If there is a connection, will there be some Bulgarians or Turks coming over too?
