Anybody know what brand of bike Sky and Astana will be using? What other changes, any announced yet? Last year there were several changes e.g. Rabobank (Giant), Silence (Canyon?), Milran (Focus), Saxo, Columbia, etc., etc.,

No word on Sky, yet.

I'd like to see them on Boardman's.

I also would like to see them ride Boardman's but i just don't think that the brand is big enough (although it would be a good way to get it out there) and they also can't keep up stock for it's customers at the moment, so how is it gonna do with a team :D

I heard Dave Brailsford has had his staff checking out some Pinarello's ala in the way Team GB's bikes were before the olympics last year ie. In secret. Apparently Blue ones with Shimano:eek: Don't know how you can put shimano on a Pinarello but i'm sure Brailsford has his reasons.

Now that would be cool. I like the idea of teams using local bikes. For example, Liquigas on C-Dales seem weird to me given the number of great Italian brands. I have never seen a Boardman up close, but they look pretty nice on the Website.

I'm suspecting that Sky will be on Trek bikes, because celebrities were conspicuously using them at public Sky/British Cycling events this summer, and because I've seen pictures/video of the GB team riding them at a previous Tour of Britain, I think 2006. They'll be sponsoring Radioshack I guess, but Sky will have a different sort of image, and coverage in a different part of the world.

Trek currently sponsor British Cycling. The Sky deal will be different and I think they'll be on Pinarellos with Dura Ace.

I guess it will be a matter of time before Quick Step ride Musueew bikes. Given that Lance has a life time contract with Trek, so that answer's what The Shack will use, plus SRAM groupset.
