bikes from boutique

I saw yesterday the bikes bellow on letour store. Is there anything wrong with them? Why are they so cheap?

I am looking to change my bike ( a 1980 something model) and I am not looking to pay 1500 euro for one, so this bikes really look a real deal for me.
Any thoughts?

Really cheap frame, fork, wheels, stem mounted shifters. I'm surprised it's as much as it is.

Go to a decent Local Bike Shop, a real bike shop and talk to them. For something tjat will fit and work for a while, ya gotta pay something more than 247 Euros.

They're rubbish. Don't even think about it. Go to your nearest real bike shop and talk to the salespeople there. You'll end up with something that fits you, that works, and a place where you will be forever welcome when you visit for advice, accessories, servicing and adjustments.

Man, they are truly sh*te. Everything is wrong - they are an embarrassment to the word "bike". It's like the components and set up were selected by someone who has never ridden.

As other posters have said, go to your LBS, be prepared to haggle a bit and get something that suits you and is decent. You can definitely get a decent bike for that sort of money if you don't mind a bit of weight.

Stay a long long long way away from those pieces of rubbish.

this (for about 500 euro online) is an example of a low end but rideable road bike that won't fall to bits the minute you change gear, ride it over a bump, or brake.

If that's too much money, start looking second hand IMO.

Thank you all. I put my eyes last summer on a Scott in Briancon and a Trek in Valloire (bikes for rent through the summer), but I was there in July and they only sell them in August. And they didn't accept to sent them via mail in my country. Scott was 300e and Trek 600e. That's why this one seems so cheap to me. I will search again.
