It'll be publiced tuesday at 12 CET. Apperently Michael Rasmussen have confirmed, that ADD are protecting riders like Nicki Sørensen.

I'll not be surprised if they have done the same thing with Bjarne Riis that USADA did to Armstrong. Get all the smaller fish to corporate and testify against Riis, and then cut some deals like their name isn't mentioned in the rapport etc.

I seem to remember USADA being mentioned in the compilation of the report - is that true?

If so, the deals you speak of would make a lot of sense in their being used as bait.

Yes, they've said many times that the reason the report have been taking so long is because they've been coorperating with multiple organisations like USADA, WADA and other national agencys to verify their stories from witnesses.

I'm personally from Denmark, and Denmark have a tendency to try copy everything USA do, espacially when it comes to politics. We are like small dogs licking their asses all the time.

.......so is this why riis was dropped by tinkov.............that's good for a better cleaner

future................

Mark L

That is very likely.. And also what I argued from the get-go...

I guess both could live better with Riis being called lazy than getting sacked for being the great orchestrator...

Did Riis get the sack or has he just been sent to direct everything from the bunker till the shyt storm blows over?

We never get the full truth from any of these guys, it is always self serving and omerta protecting.

Honestly I believe the part about Tinkov/Riis not liking eachother much...

If anything part of the retirement deal was passing on valuable knowledge....
Thus Riis only had to be called lazy and taking home some more money...

Purely speculating of course..

Mike Kaltoft Jensen ‏@MikeKaltoft 6 min.
According to BT, Bjarne Riis is trying to get himself a job with a top team - offering himself + Saxo Bank's money. MTN turned him down.

MTN's Brian Smith confirms that Riis has asked about the possibilities. According to BT, he was also rejected by Trek (brutal irony...).

So Riis gets fired for not facilitating the best 'program' and then gets blacklisted from the sport... That should teach the other DS's a lesson: The only thing worse than bad drugs is bad results - always provide what is asked for.

Has Cookson blacklisted Riis? Smells like it.
If no team takes his money, then yes. The fallback argument amongst those considering dirty money is always: enventually someone's going to take it.

But if no one does it's because they're being told not to.

why are Saxo continuing to back Riis? Can't they find another DS to throw money behind?
He gets results. You gotta figure, at this, anyone throwing money at professional cycling gots to know what they're getting into. To the average cycling fan, Riis hardly registers in comparison to a TdF win.

If his movie is any indication, he's also a good guy. Good guy capable of extracting good results from his riders? Gold, surely?

Such a good guy that he ignored his riders doping, eh? Not to mention that he's a former doper himself.

"Extracting good results." I think injecting good results is a more accurate term of words.
