It's probably a bit harsh, but a NZ / Aus without any top guys probably doesn't stand a chance at Pro Conti level when they're not even getting to ride Santos Tour Down Under. Then it's just a glorified Conti team that gets to ride Cadel Evans race.

Feel sorry for the riders and staff of course, hopefully they can keep a solid conti team and maybe in the future be able to step back up at pro level in a different climate where they can get to ride Tour Down Under and a couple more WT-races (Guanxi Tour, UAE Tour and maybe the Canadian races could be within reach?)

I feel like this is a pattern I've seen before; a conti team is successful, and decides to take a step up. Only for the whole thing to quickly crumble.
yes indeed, don't they have a long term vision, or do they say : we'll go ahead and see what happens but that's not really bussiness conform...
