Blocked notifications icon is large and pointless

Sooo...not sure how long it's been there, but if I don't want a site to push notifications to me, a VERY common setting, I don't usually get a gigantic red bell icon floating over my page. No matter where I scroll to.

Can we lose this? Thank you!

What did you write? I couldn't read the entirety of your post because their was a big red bell covering it.

Install an Adblocker, such as AdGuard, go to the filters setting, enable Adguard Annoyances filter, and "Bob's your Uncle."

Bob might be your uncle, but I tried 4 different add blockers and none of them removed the bell. Thanks for the help though.

They still have not fixed this annoying "feature" which make makes thinks they don't read these threads or they don't care.
