I have done sport since a young age, serious football then serious running ,body building and then Cycling.
My body does not respond has it should. I cannot eat lots of green foods/salad as it makes me tired and slow. I have to stay away from wholemeal as well. I had a couple of serious bouts of lethargy. I kept a diary and found out what works and doesn't. Your body definitely changes over time and in my case the way body responds to foods as well. Keeping a diary of your food can help in reaching a goal.
