I live in the USA and tried to buy from chainreaction in the UK . It would have taken weeks to get the product. I will only buy domesticly from now on.

If you plan your purchases you can save big time. if you cannot wait then try Wiggle. I bought a pair of wheels last thursday and opened the box yesterday. I have also been waiting 3 weeks for a total cycling order but I did choose snail mail option because I need the parts in another month.
Euro bike shops are great for Euro products and not american products like speedplay. I especially like the shops in Great Britain as they are sent free of VAT and in the case of my wheels they were expensive enough the shipping was free. That said they did not have the adaptors for thru axles and I will have to wait for those? not perfect but I can wait because these are not parts I must have now. Plan and save.

Wiggle UK
Planet X UK
Condor Cycles UK
Chain reaction UK

and shame on those who refuse to ship to Thailand.

I buy from Wiggle and Probikekit when they have specials (usually tires, tubes, and pedals). I find I get products tax and shipping free with a week at half the cost of USA suppliers.

I have bought cycling books though UK booksellers that are not available, hard to find, or expensive in the USA. I bought Huffington's "The Hour" for under $4.00.

I purchased a pair of ultegra 10 speed levers and a 180mm Xt rotor and saved near %50. it took 2 weeks by normal postal delivery which was free. Could have chosen a courier delivery in 4 days for more $$.

I bought a pair of Fulcrum wheels on thursday from wiggle in england got them on tuesday with free delivery.

Maybe not the best for emergency needs but if you plan your parts you can save substantially. Plan accordingly and save the pointless posts.
