He rode Gesink, Sanchez, Danielson, Taaramae, Contador, Cunego and Rolland off his wheel, one by one. He didn't attack, just rode away. Beautiful.

Europcar and Voeckler owe Evans big time!!! WTF though no organised chase; just left to one man? Nice ****** manoeveur by F. Schleck there just at the end. Brothers Schleck know they don't have a hope come TT time. A. Schleck's ride almost reminiscent of another epic getaway a few years ago (FL!) and no I am not suggesting anything else!

And for yet another year, we are left saying: Imagine what Evans could do with a team capable of supporting him in the mountains!

Boy, he looked angry on that climb when nobody would help him.

Great ride by the Aussie

Fortunately, we know that Andy cannot ride Cadel off his wheel. Tomorrow they'll finish together then Cadel will ITT into yellow!!!!!!!!!!

I just want AS and CE separated by like :03 seconds heading into Sunday. How great would it be to see an actually GC race in Paris!

I think Schleck cound take the same amount of time from Evans if he recovers some energy on tomorrow's stage. Evans could have easily won himself the tour today had their been an organized chase much earlier. I am not gonna comment on the 'wheel-sucking' theory, because you ride to your strenghts, and even though I would like to see Cadel attacking more (because he is more than capable) he knows he can win with the ITT coming up.

Superb ride by Cadel. Just about towed everyone up the hill and defended Voeckler's jersey for him.

Reckon he might have a few choice words about Voeckler this evening though ;)

He must have dropped about 40 (?) riders today by riding tempo into a headwind, so very impressive ride. Andy really cracked at the end there though. The lead stabilised at 3 minutes for a long while but was only 2 at the top. Tomorrow will be interesting.

great ride by evans today. he should have realized that contador wasn't at his best earlier. it was obvious.
