You are tremendously underrating Boonen. He has done a flanders - paris roubaix twice, and one of those times was just last year. As strong as Canc is, he has to be strong enough to shake Boonen. Boonen doesn't have to shake Canc with the sprint he has.

I did make it clear that I'm not rating him as high this year because of his current form. He had some scary health issues recently (with the arm and all), and in the warmup races he hasn't truly impressed, while also crashing, which, even if you're not seriously hurt, is still an annoying setback. He's obviously still good, but not at *that* level right now.

Last time i checked in the only real classic raced so far this season, Sagan was destoyed by a rider from a semi proffesional African team.

You mean he was dropped on the Oude kwaremont by a rider from a USA-based team? Because I haven't seen any destroying in MSR, just a very close call in the sprint.

Your definition of "destroyed" clearly differs greatly from my own.

I think 'outfoxed' is the word you were looking for.

Anyway, Dekker_T's thread to bait Miburo is getting quite the response. Of course Sagan can be destroyed in the classics, by the best cobbles rider on the planet: Cancellara.

Sagan beat himself on that race, nothing to do with a small African team. Btw, was the rider who won German by any chance? :D

I think Sagan already started crying this morning by the thought of getting his *** kicked so hard by Cance in de Ronde and by Phil in AGR and LbL

Canc and Phil are crying themselves of the possibility of getting their butts kicked by a 23 year old.

Amstel is probably the race he has the best shot at winning. The Cauberg is his type of hill, having gone away and winning on it 3 times.

And his form isn't that bad this year, sure he hasn't been able to get a win yet. But he has been active in races, attacking, and steadily building his form. And he hasn't had any serious problems like illness or injury disrupt his training. I think he will be in good form by the Ardennes.
