Pogačar isn't focused on winning this race IMO . He's very competitive and if he has the opportunity he'll take it but this for him is more like a warm up for the Worlds. He obviously has a much better chance winning in Montreal based on the course.
I agree , like I said he's competitive and probably wants to win everything but it's not his main focus.He hasn't won this one, I'm sure he wants to win it. And he still can, it's kinda still ideal if other teams bring this closer so he can jump.

It's still possible, throw everything at reducing the gap this lap and then counterattack on the next time up the climb. Agree that setting up a sprint may be difficult at this stage.Peloton is small and it's still 50 seconds. Not enough domestiques anymore. Race had been way hard than previous years.
