Pogačar isn't focused on winning this race IMO . He's very competitive and if he has the opportunity he'll take it but this for him is more like a warm up for the Worlds. He obviously has a much better chance winning in Montreal based on the course.

He hasn't won this one, I'm sure he wants to win it. And he still can, it's kinda still ideal if other teams bring this closer so he can jump.

I agree , like I said he's competitive and probably wants to win everything but it's not his main focus.
 
It's still possible, throw everything at reducing the gap this lap and then counterattack on the next time up the climb. Agree that setting up a sprint may be difficult at this stage.

It's possible but not when it's jusst gonna be like 1 EF, 1 Visma, 1 Jayco or something. No idea why Lotto is waiting unless De LIe just told them he doesn't have the legs.

Anyways best edition so far of Quebec, and it's not necessarily because of the parcours change just because teams finally started attacking early.
