Candidates for instant banning

MODERATOR

It is possible for this thread to remain as a light hearted knock-about of vocabulary: that's fine.

It absolutely must not become what the thread name almost invites: accusations against members or a place to vent about individuals.

And this thread, like any other public space in the forum, is not suitable for discussion of specific moderation action, hence deletion of a couple of posts this morning.

Come now the right honorable Potomac to plead for instant bans for anyone using any of the following terms, or their derivatives.

Washed
Epic
Bruh

I plead this on behalf of the greater good.
I'm with you on the epic and bruh part, but I don't understand why washed is on your list.
Also, as mentioned, any mention of GOAT has to go.
And pardon the interruption, but please, right honorable Potomac, include the use of the name Karen as a pejorative on the ban list. My best friend's name is Karen and she's anything but a "Karen." This scourge has gotten so bad that my friend Karen says "Not that Karen" when introducing herself.
This has to stop.
Thank you in advance.

I'm sure your friend is a fine person. For practical reasons perhaps she can spell it as "Karin." Some might call that giving in, but sometimes being pragmatic is sensible. BTW, have we seen the usage of Karen in these cycling forums? I'm limiting my decrees to this community, not society in general. Though someday I might expand

As for "washed" as in washed it up it has become tiresome. When Carapazed gained time yesterday in the Giro i was a expecting a flurry of posts claiming Del Toro is washed. Today I was expecting read that Carapaz is washed. The good news is the forum's were not bombarded with these washing ups. I credit this thread. I'm surprised about the natural authority I evidently bring to these proceedings.

I have yet to see the use of the name Karen as a pejorative on this forum, but I'm just trying to get ahead of the game. I've introduced petitions on other forums, but no one has signed. I've gone so far as to beg people on other forums, but no luck. My pleas are being ignored. They just don't care.
I'm hoping, good sir, that your natural authority will make people think twice before using the name Karen as a pejorative on this forum.
