Cookson: Listen, Javier, the accidents with the motorcycles, they are ok. But letting the testers come along during the night?? Why was nobody notified?

Guillen: But Alistair, the testers, they play sneaky! They make the announcements right before siesta time. How do we let the teams know in time? We can't get around that!

Cookson: Do you WANT to lose a week off the Vuelta?

Guillen: Do you WANT the next motorcycle to *accidentally* miss Majka and take out someone else - say Thomas?

Cookson: [Walks away] W@nker!

Guillen: [Walks away] W@nker!

Peter Sagan: Attempting to actually make the sun shine out of his arse.

That was good.
I don't get the animosity expressed toward Sagan, but that was good.

He seems to have grown up a bit since pinchgate, although I'm still not convinced, but he also seems extremely arrogant for a guy who until now couldn't win a big race. I don't really have anything against the guy though, he's obviously well liked in the peloton. I think some of that is probably due to the flak he was getting from Tinkov.

Sagan is what he his. I like him. He's got lots energy and charismatic. Ok he pinched a bum or two and he crossed the line, but id rather more characters like him rather than the desperate attempt by the likes of Wiggo to be edgy and who is about as dangerous as pigeon.

Arrogant = Unduly appropriating authority or importance; aggressively conceited or presumptuous; haughty, overbearing.

I don't really think of Sagan as that. Maybe immature at times? Maybe someone who's a jokester who likes to have some fun at times. Just my take.

Valverde: It's not fair. Sagan is over there, with all that wonderful hair, laughing it up and telling jokes to Alberto, while I have to stand here next to The Global Symbol of The Fight Against Doping. You'd think a guy who got tossed off the Vuelta for hanging on to cars wouldn't be so self-righteous, but nooooo! He's got to stand there and look pained.
