I tried a Chinarello once and it was as smooth a ride as the real thing. Only ridiculously cheaper. 500€ Dogma frameset, lol. But I know of people whose fake frames broke in half while riding.

Not so long ago Pinarello closed more than 15.000 deals on that site they mention.

The biggest problem with the lack of QC is that some of these frames can be quite good, while some can be very poor. So you might get someone buying a terrible frame thinking that they're getting the same deal as a mate who's had a decent experience.
