Carbon Wheels, Who rides Roval Rapid 40 / 60s?

I'm begining my research on a wheel upgrade. I currently ride DT Swiss, Axis 4.0 (came on the bike). I would like to get some mildly aero carbon clinchers, 40's or 60's. These will be for training miles and group rides, 100 to 200 miles per week through the picturesque back roads of New England.

I've been leaning towards the new Roval Rapide's.

Any thoughts?

Training and group rides? Honestly I'd just get some well-built alloy clinchers. Something like H+Son Archetype, Pacenti SL23s or Ambrosio Excellence rims on your choice of hubs. I like Hope but some people find them too noisy.

+1 to KB's advice. Just get some nice alloy wheels. I've had good luck with factory wheels, but others swear by handbuilt wheels. Your choice, your, money, but carbon is pointless for 99% of riding IMO.

Great advive guys. I'm looking at some Al wheels with some higher end hubs. Rapide SL-35 / Zipp 30 Course / DT Swiss R32 Spline.

Sounds like a good plan. I quite like sealed bearing hubs although I know a lot of road riders don't. The last a long time and can be serviced if you can be bothered.

Pick sensible spokes too, not something really exotic as you want to be able to get them quickly if needed.
