Lotto made Van de Paar turn pro 2 days ago... Now he's 3rd in his first sprint with the pros. Taking 70 UCI points that wouldn't have counted for the team if he wasn't pro yet.

Had Vernon on my CQ team last year so followed him and thought he had the acceleration of a bungalow. Glad to be proved wrong. Could go well in the classics as he's definitely got the power and strength.

me too, and he also was dropped on every speedbump last year. Today was flat of course, but his climbing on the first day was very good. Didn't expect that
