Van den Berg got it in a messy old sprint - chapeau!EF has done nothing in the Antipodes and nothing in Mallorca yesterday.
Hopefully the can be in the sprint mix today.
Yeah great work by Valgren and Blikra went too early. Turgis a late move but just too late. Vino got two men in the top 10 so more points for the team.Should count as half a victory on Valgren's palmares , watch his move from 3.3-3.2k to go
He didnt really have any choice as his final leadout was done. The acceleration was very strong and only Van den Berg and Turgis were allowed to follow, and it was impressive to almost hold out. Could be a break through season for him if he can stay healthy and his leadout can last 2-3 seconds longer in the coming sprints.Blikra went too early.
Skin suits should be banned in regular races.
You are turgid for Turgis!First ever top 11, and podium, too, of course, for Turgis in January and the first time he's finished in the top 16 on Spanish soil (before this season, he hadn't raced in Spain since the 2017 Vuelta, to be fair, apart from the Bilbao Grand Départ).
I thought he looked quite slow, actually.Rex again looking good to start his season. Bini got boxed-in, but looked strong closing in a big gap.
Wow, a somewhat left field question... perhaps RhD knows something![]()
Is Matthias Schwarzbacher in any way related to the former husband of former biathlete Martina Halinárová?
