Chris has no chance of ever amounting to anything again and never should have. Tomorrow he looses 10 minutes.
If he loses only 10 min tomorrow then he will be close to the top 10 on the stage.

44 | Froome Chris | Israel-Premier Tech | | + 27:16 |
As opposed to?Today:
- stage hunting from now on
44 Froome Chris Israel-Premier Tech + 27:16
not good enough even for that...Today:
- stage hunting from now on
44 Froome Chris Israel-Premier Tech + 27:16
He is actually 55:37 down now, but 41st overall in GC if you are a "glass half-full" type of guy.Froome at over 27 minutes back is not credible even with the crash. He is a Granfondo champion at best.
He'll have to...I don't know...say...hunt for a stage, before we call him that, right? Not saying it's impossible but he's not been able to get into a break yet.Today:

Waiting for the final stage to get in the breakaway and top 10 to stop the German streak. He'll have to...I don't know...say...hunt for a stage, before we call him that, right? Not saying it's impossible but he's not been able to get into a break yet.
I’m not going to lie, the way yesterday went I was half expecting Froome to pass Pogacar up.His comment before the stage...
He warned the peloton, yet they did not listen. Dawg is on a mission.
So far none of this is happeningI think today is going to be very difficult for Froome. The action will start on Galibier & he's likely to get thrown into dropped groups real fast, at which point he becomes a passenger among riders who're just aiming to make the time cut.
The problem he has is one which has been spoken of loads of times, i.e. as soon as the tempo increases, he drops.
So far none of this is happening
Completely off the prediction you made that he would be thrown out the back today.Because he jumped ahead at the top of the Galibier (when not much was happening in the peloton aka no real action) & he worked with Tom Pidcock (& his amazing descending skills) to join the breakaway. But people shouldn't kid themselves, i.e. when Froome is in the peloton, he gets dropped when they accelerate.
I don't know why a plucky breakaway would suddenly change all that. Good spectacle though, i.e. a totally boring stage which Froome has given some interest. So he gets 'cool factor' points for that.
Bike style is still an eyesore though.
Because the action didn’t go like they thought it would.Completely off the prediction you made that he would be thrown out the back today.
Isn’t that always the case?Because the action didn’t go like they thought it would.
