Impressive job today for Froome. He was the rider who was pulling more for sure, much more than anyone of the break.

The team has got a god prize of this race and Froome has been important on that, especially today. . Yesterday there were not images of the first Km of the climb so I cant evaluate his paper, he was just to work when they stop for more than 10 minutes.

Hope to see him at Poland or Burgos.

The race, very interesting, and the full coverage, a good gift.

yes, they just need to improve coverage in the mountains, create a proper time trial, and fix the crocked finish line (the guy who take hold of the right lane always win the sprint).

They have to improve lot of things, and sometims the head of the group was important and they missed. Bad coverage in the mountains with good weather, and of course to give more information about km to go, gaps, etc...

But for a rider of most of those teams, imagine what great is to get home and watch a video of hours with him compiting with Lipowitch, Leknessund, Bennet, Froome, De la Cruz, Nizzolo...
I am from Burgos and use to watch Vuelta a Burgos, Vuelta a España, Clásica de San Sebastian, ...races with a very good organization, and for me was not normal to watch cars recently stoped on the roads, and lot of things like that, but they showed Sibiu region very well to the world, and the ITT was too technical, but showed very well the nice City Centre, without conditioning a lot the race. Anyway with rain no way.

what i do like in this kind of "local broadcasting" are that they show all the podium ceremonies fully, so you can actually have a more empathy and identifying with the race, and see the locals almost eye to eye, so there is more intimicy, or more humane contact, for example tour de rwanda broadcast started hours before the race and finish hours after the race , it was a one big celebration, almost same for tour of taiwan.
on Eurosport they always chop this parts , like they are not part of the race. they do show you nice postcard photos of churches and mansions, but you rarely see any people, unless its on the top of a mountain, and then they always wan us how dangerous this people are...

Yes, lot of romanian people live in my town, but I didnt know a lot about life there, and it has been a good presentation.

Tbh, seeing that Gee or Gall or whomever top 10/15 TdF GC rider would easily beat Froome in 2015, puts Froome's downfall a bit into perspective. He is just fossil out of way slower times. Peak Froome could maybe top 15 the Tour today.
Landa was 4th in Froome's last TDF and is on track to repeat that this year. Clearly the level of riders have risen, why would the same not happen to Froome, Contador, Nibali etc if they were riding in their prime years now?

Will they send him to Wallonie? I am not sure it will suit his characteristics.
No race suits his characteristics anymore. The team should just send him to races if there’s a need to fill the squad and then demand him to do donkey work. Maybe they could send him to post Tour crits if they still offer him appearance money.

Froome is going to the Tour after all...the Tour De France!

He'll be riding around Nice dressed in white as a champion of peace.

Source: Jeremy Whittle, Guardian journo. (not sure if this a piss take or a real thing)

He has arrived
