when does his contract end ....and who is his lawyer ? Trump needs Froome's lawyer
This year he is not going to say anything, becouse he wanst at the same level than last year, and his team mates were very strong..He didnt race since his crtash,, the team race hyst a few races who didnt suit him, but he should have been stronger anyway, Decision is logical. last year it was a mistake, not this one.OMG, the team makes the same mistake again! Chris was saving all his matches for the Tour (therefore a subdued ride at the Dauphine) and was just about to peak. A battle royale between 3 TdF winners was brutally taken away from us. He should change teams and become a proper, respected leader next year. There's still hope: Papa Horner was almost 42 when he won Vuelta'13.
He raced the Dauphine. In what way does the Dauphine not suit a GC rider? This year he is not going to say anything, becouse he wanst at the same level than last year, and his team mates were very strong..He didnt race since his crtash,, the team race hyst a few races who didnt suit him, but he should have been stronger anyway, Decision is logical. last year it was a mistake, not this one.
We will see if he can reach a devent level for La Vuelta.
I mean of course before Dauphine. In a normal year, he would have done Ruanda, Tirreno, Alps, Romandie, Mercan and Dauphione...2 last one to show a level wich deserves go to le Tour...He could have improved after, but he showed a bad level. Hougo Houle will be at le Tour, he won a stage 2 years ago, he didbt show a much better level, but better, he worked more and was a little bit better at GC.He raced the Dauphine. In what way does the Dauphine not suit a GC rider?
Last year was a mistake. FFS. The only mistake IPT made WRT Froome was hiring him and paying him.
Dude. He’s not remotely close to any relevant level. Has nothing to do with the races he’s ridden or Hugo Houle.I mean of course before Dauphine. In a normal year, he would have done Ruanda, Tirreno, Alps, Romandie, Mercan and Dauphione...2 last one to show a level wich deserves go to le Tour...He could have improved after, but he showed a bad level. IPT made a huge gamble when they gave him a contract when his recovery from the 2019 Dauphine TT training crash was so uncertain. They made a huge mistake in the length of the contract and in not tying it to results, but I would want to give them credit for offering the guy hope of a way back in.IPT basically made a huge mistake when they gave this guy a contract. And yes, the predictable outcome was very obvious.
I said he deserved not fo to le Tour, another thing would have surpriosed me. I dont know what I bhave to wake up. Hugo Hpoule and him were the best riders of the team last Tour Froome had the oportunity to start, that is a reality. when Froome had to leve for Cvid just before the day suits him better he was just wuth Hugo the only rider of the team at the top 30, Hugo won a stage (helped by the presence of Woods behind) but Froome was 3rd at the queen stage, so similar level....now Hugo wanst much better than Froome at Dauphione, but I think enough better. Bennet was clarly better than him at Suisse, tha same Theuns...They have his reason to go with Houle, and I think it is not a bad choice, but if we are based just about performance this year...no.Dude. He’s not remotely close to any relevant level. Has nothing to do with the races he’s ridden or Hugo Houle.
Rwanda. Come on man, wake up.
Froome was only at a good level two years ago if compared with his pre-transformation. The fact is Froome has only cashed in on debunking his career, laughing all the way to the bank. And there's always a sucker now isn't there?I said he deserved not fo to le Tour, another thing would have surpriosed me. I dont know what I bhave to wake up. Froome was at a decent level 2 years ago, that is true, you can say no, but that is no arguable...and now he is not. This year he didnt race after his crash,a nd he was to race a month ago with no problems...For intsnace Hugo didnt race too much in that period, but al least he raced 6 clasiic, one of then in May, it is not the same...Froome needed at least Romandie in his legs to perform a minimun at Dauo9hine, as he did tha previous years with top 15 at Mercan. Or you think is the same bad level to be top 15 at mercan than to be 80 at Dauphine?
Of course he was never again the same, but here we dont talk to be the same, but to deserve to go to le Tour.Froome was only at a good level two years ago if compared with his pre-transformation. The fact is Froome has only cashed in on debunking his career, laughing all the way to the bank. And there's always a sucker now isn't there?
One should speak of Ovidian metamorphoses. He has not deserved to be on the Tour team for the last 2 years, period.
If there was ANY argument to him making the team, IPT would be OBVIOUSLY be taking him given the investment. The fact that they don't take him shows exactly what team management (and likely the riders) think (and they know) about his level the last 2 years. Other riders get sick, have bad races and go to the Tour, because the team knows their real level.
You can make up all the excuses you want, but it's delusional. He is nowhere close to being a Tour rider.
He fleeced IPT and cashed in on his ill-gotten fame. He's been a fraud and a stain on cycling since the Vuelta of 2011.
Googling Ovidian...One should speak of Ovidian metamorphoses.
I may not be the brightest cookie, but googling like you suggested has just made be more confused.Googling Ovidian...![]()
It's about transformations, which with the Greek gods could be to an astral state now, now to a lowly bestiale one. In alcchemy from lead to gold and back to lead again. It's a metaphor of a life for those who rise and fall. But let not pearls be cast before swines, for they know not their worth.I may not be the brightest cookie, but googling like you suggested has just made be more confused.
Interesting theory that of the peloton dominated by megawinners...like a 150 of them at every race he enters. And they're not even always the same.Is it possible that Froome is not that much slower going uphill but the peloton is just dominated by megawinners now? People who climb, TT, flat better than a GC allrounder and also recover better than a traditional GC specialist?
No, he is simply terribile. Is it possible that Froome is not that much slower going uphill but the peloton is just dominated by megawinners now? People who climb, TT, flat better than a GC allrounder and also recover better than a traditional GC specialist?
Sounds like Wiggans should get back in the good with Froome. Maybe they could help each other. Both need a good reset of their perception of reality. It's about transformations, which with the Greek gods could be to an astral state now, now to a lowly bestiale one. In alcchemy from lead to gold and back to lead again. It's a metaphor of a life for those who rise and fall. But let not pearls be cast before swines, for they know not their worth.
More is always more. These 4-5 years on various training camps for millions a year will probably mean he'll never need to work againI almost never come to this thread as I lost interest years ago. With 7 Grand Tour victories I just don’t get why Chris Froome didn’t retire years ago? It is now 5 years since his Dauphine crash and he is 39 now. I also can’t see how he needs the money. By persisting he is only further sullying his reputation.
