I can assure you that none of them are on club teams.
If you go to procyclingstats..and check rider records for some of the people in the race.. Likely CT( conti team) Riders in 6th-10th here's the guy in 6th
club rider status is almost the same except for no wage or other " protection " you get from union, which means nothing.
Lots of these guys are late 20s,30s to mid 30s get paid small stipend, equipment, travel, equipment.. but if team folds there is nothing, it's just over. Many riders have jobs..maybe served you coffee or food at a cafe, despite being a " professional bike racer"
This team has club in the name.. All guys racing against Trolls

Auto correct changed Froome to Trolls!!?

Froome was first day at Sibiu pulling maybe 100 of the 214 km of the stage. Yesterday he pulled as well on the flat, but much less, becouse the maillot Jaune, with no options of more stages, did a great Job. Froome pulled again after 5 of the 20 km of the last climb, when the group was about 20...he droped another 3 riders, pull for about 1 km before to open, and ley Riccitello attack...
2 of the team nates didnt finish the stage, so today there is a lot of work for him as they have the leader and just 4 riders.
As the level at Sibiu is not hight, and long and hot weather stages suits him well...the performance IS not great. He was mucho more strong a Tour of Slovaquia ( after his Crash, obviously) but that races didnt have mountain.
But anyway to be teh second stronger of the team who has won the 2 stages so far of the race is something to take into account. Past year Froome did a good job as well at thisb race but quite far of this level. Nowbhen IS stronger and he is progressing every race after his early Crash this year. I think he could reach a decent level to be at la Vuelta. Maybe the team is not very interesting as It is his last year but if Froome is as the level of another Riders of the team the media effect and publicity of a 4 time Tour Rider cant compare with any other Rider. And his work is usefull, as the team has always good resultdñs when Froome can do a good job, as this past 2 days. He just need to be a little bit stronger...we Will see his work today and he will deserves It.
The team has important sprinters but at the Vuelta there are just a few oportunities and that have to think at the podium.
I hope so

Win what? A stage? Some smaller race? Get a podium in GC?

There's a product for all of that and it's called the official Tour de France video game on PS5.
Let’s be real, Froome wouldn’t win anything on the easiest difficulty and funny enough I even forgot he’d be in that game. The last few games I forgot all about him, I wonder how much he costs on Proteam/rider mode.

I've been wondering where you have been Taxus4a:
It is good to hear some Chris Froome positivity.
