He's incredibly loyal to his paymasters. He and the 7 time winner came up together but their careers diverged. Some say personalities. Hmm. He's not quite the tactician the crowd claims though. Suicide break in TOC after weak TT and all that.

Poor tactics? Not at all. It was a long shot, but there was nothing else he could have done to win the overall. I suppose he missed out on a top-5 spot, but no one cares about that.
