tony martin killed them all.nice to see that vino finished the race and not in the last place.lombardia indeed would have been a bad choice.

also nice to see:
CRI 20.870 KM.

2 3 Kristin ARMSTRONG Etats-Unis 00:00:09
3 4 Olga ZABELINSKAIA Russie 00:01:03
4 9 Tatiana ANTOSHINA Russie 00:01:07
5 6 Pia SUNDSTEDT Finlande 00:01:15
6 5 Julia SHAW Grande-Bretagne 00:01:26
7 18 Sharon LAWS Grande-Bretagne 00:02:02

9 7 Mélodie LESUEUR Ile-de-France 00:02:22
10 10 Liesbet DE VOCHT Belgique 00:02:23

Nice to see the youngster Julia Shaw doing a reasonable ride at the age of whatever. Its rude to reveal a ladies age lol.

I'm glad the Brits took Longo out anyway even if the Americans blew the field away.

of course she didn't win but let's not forget that jeannie longo came in the race after being dragged in all kinds of scandals.so chapeau for coming back and not quitting the fight.

Tony Martin is on his way to become even more impressive than Cancellara in the time trial in his best years

i never thought that's possible but i think it's already happening.

Even if Millar becomes available for the Olympics (BOA rule is going to get put to CAS little doubt of that) I doubt he will get the nod.

Right now, yes. But Millar is the only one of those guys who won a time trial in the WorldTour this year.

Millar apres-baby hasn't been at his best in terms of form and motivation at this end of the season, yet he still came top-10 at the worlds. Should be back to being top class next season.

Is the Olympic TT down to 1 rider per country like the track?

Nope - GB Australia and Germany will have 2 after the WC I think top 10 gives you a rider and if 2 then you get 2 .

No, every country in the top-whatever of the UCI time trial ranking gets to send 1 rider, and if you had a rider in the top-10 of the Worlds this year you get another.

So Holland gets to send two. I don't know what we'll do with them, but there you go.

I always thought they used bigger chainrings on the front so as they wouldn't spin out on the down hill sections. Effectively the need bigger chainrings for lumpy courses than they do plan flat ones.
