Whole of Sky's Tour team was on holidays after Worlds. They had to ride this as they registered for the race but Porte and Froome were on slide of form from Agust. Didn't you see that ? Did you see Froome drop out at Worlds early on.... yea that shows he was tired after long season.

Did you expect him to peak for this race then after the Worlds ? That goes for Porte too.

FFS... No wonder most here say you're a troll..

A guy who was 3rd in the Olympics finishes 7 minutes back... No excuses.

Not EBH, he was sent straight to Beijing. Actually he's the only guy from Sky's TDF team who hasn't had a huge drop in performance since TDF. Even if he started the season earlier than anyone else on the TDF team.

But yeah, using this race as an indication for anything is just stupid. For all we know, some of those guys might not have trained in weeks and are just here to get a training ride on their TT bikes, or collecting start-fee...

Last race of the season and you guys still bring the stupid Clinic sh*t into the pro road section.
Spoils it for anyone interested in racing, not rubbish.

Good to see that Tony Martin has kind of saved his season after a horrible start! Hopefully he can continue the good form next year, and perhaps even win a few road races as well. Would be cool if he tries to do something in M-SR or something :p

A few riders have salvaged something of their season, late on.
Basso winning earlier today and Dan Martin adding second to his high Beijing finish.
Martin of course, with his Worlds, Chinese cracker and today.

Which means another bunch of quality riders have priced themselves out of next year's CQ team selection.:(

Yeah, Basso's 140 points have completely messed up my provisional team.
