Would've been nice to see Sastre win, but without attacking further out he didn't have a lot of chance. Nice play by the Spaniards to make Vino lead them out though.

And my pick....Barredo, comes in way down. What the hell happened to Liquigas today? Everyone was picking Nibali FTW, and Kreuziger finished second last year.

yes he will. Smart, made Vino do all the work in the last km.

Cool as a cucumber.

Yeah, it was pretty funny when Vino was looking around for somebody to pull through, and they were like, "um no." :D

Anybody expecting a Sky rider in the top 20 is slightly naive.. check the start list.

Porte did well considering he didnt ride the tour and have all those miles in his legs so well done to him.

Special mention for Haimar Zubeldia. Seriously, f@#k him.

I guess I don't understand the hate for "wheel sucking" or not doing the most work at the front when it gets you a better result. Why expend the energy and not save it for a higher placing potentially? The one I will give you is Levi, can't stand the way he rides, but it could be anyone.

Great intelligent race by LLS.
Great race by Gesink, but he did not get any support from the other riders. Especially when you consider that Zubeldia attacked later on, only to ensure the 4th place, when if he had worked he at least would have a chance to win it
Great race by Porte, was really amazed when he attacked, and especially the way he hung on and came back every time. Really impressive

Because he robbed himself and the others of a chance to win, and then just steals a 4th place, which he absolutely didn't deserve.

Because it's a coward's way of riding.
