Barredo, Kreuziger, Delage, Velits (hehe mentioned him as an outsider), Hesjedal, Pozzato,

Was pleasantly surprised that S Langeveld hung with the best!!! Promising for the young classics rider, that means he's got the legs for hillier classics as well

and he seems to love the rain!

1º Carlos Barredo (Quick Step) 5:36:59
2º Roman Kreuziger (LIquigas) m.t.
3º Delage a 7"
4º Velits m.t.
5º Hesjedal m.t.
6º Pozzato m.t.
7º Riblon m.t.
8º Ivanov m.t.
9º Fran Pérez m.t.

Garate and Barredo are two of my favorite riders. First the Ventoux, and now San Sebastian?!
Awesome.

Now that we got TDF out of the way, can't wait for the Worlds and Lombardy:cool:

Too bad Garate crashed. He lives at the bottom of the Jaizkibel, so he was hoping to put in another good result. I think he was taken down by Freire who crashed before him.

He broke a little bone in his hand, but won't have to pull out of the Vuelta.

The popularity of the race is due to Lance. Prior to him winning it was one of the smaller provincial races. Its now a big UCI race on the ProTour calender.

That's totally ridiculous. This is a big race and it allways was. It wasn't Armstrong who made the race. Very big names won this beautiful race. Go home and learn something about cycling.

Facetiousness is hard to read without being able to see the inflection on the face of the person posting. You leg is being tugged on.
