Velogames are doing their free fantasy game again this year, kicking off with the classics from saturday. There have been a couple of warmup weeks with Cash prizes.

Free to enter as last time.

And we are also assured that the glitches in last years tour de france game (i think he underestimated the popularity) are now dealt with.

After the work during the offseason, I am going into the new season with
quite a bit of confidence that the problems from last season are behind
us.

There is also a premium option which is a couple of pounds, which gets you an extra 10pts to spend on riders, and an extra rider change option during the races, but they are giving this back in cash prizes for the winners. People who had a premium team last summer have been offered a free premium team this spring.

I participated in the warp up races and placed 11th in the first race (had Langeveld) and would have loved an overall ranking after the second, where I picked Gilbert as winner, Ballan as runner-up, and also had Cunego a.o. - sadly enough I didn't pick Van Avermaet.

Guess I'll have to kick TSF's team in the spring competition then :D

I'm not sure it matters, scores are put back to zero now as they were warm up races and wont count to the final classification.
I'm in TSF and CN leagues.

Yeh, the first two were just warmups to get new players familiar with it etc.
they dont count towards the competition.

Although there was £50 cash prize for each race, one of the tsf league guys came 5th..

race schedule is on the right hand column, and transfer details down under transfer window heading. all on that page.

some of the rules are for premium teams only which cost £2.50, most are applicable to free teams.

(I have one of each, personally i dont mind chucking someone a couple of quid for all the work they do, and it gets given back in prizes anyway.) only my free team is in the cn minileague though.

I love how your teamskyfans minileage team doesn't have any Sky riders! And to think I actually felt sort of guilty joining your league without anyone from Sky.

Goss was such a bargain I'd buy in bulk if I could - bet he's one of the most popular picks.

I want Haussler to win today and I think he has a great shot but he's not riding next week and I somehow feel he'll have a better chance if I don't jinx him. More than half my Tour team last year broke bones in the race so I don't have a great record at this.

To be honest, i thought flecha and eddy boss were overpriced. Eddy is sky's number 1 man, but he could finish anywhere between 1st and 100th hes so unpredictable.

Was too much of a long shot for me. :D

Im 13th overall, gutted that i had both offredo, and ventoso in my early team draft and then removed them both.

Interesting though that we cant change rosters till after wevelgem. Could be crucial.

And sublimit and I are in the top ten. CN Forumites fielding a strong and versatile team for the classics:)

I didn't really do great today but my consistency actually moved me up the standings.

Time to start bargain shopping for some tough cobble guys.

I didnt realise we were that high up. Nice. 3 in the top 10 and the leader out of field of over a thousand..:cool:

DONT FORGET - THE TRANSFER WINDOW IS OPEN SO YOU CAN CHANGE RIDERS FOR FLANDERS AND PARIS ROUBAIX

if for any reason you then have to rejoin a minileague after changing your riders.
