Classics Brugge-De Panne (26/3 and 27/3)

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You should know the story by now; Short three-day race that got shortened - but at first kept the "three days" part of the title - added a women's race, got WT status, blablabla...

Startlist for the Men's race:

Startlist for the Women's race:

The finish is the same for both races:

Map also the same, except fewer laps for the women:

He has been somewhat disappointing since Portugal, so I don't think he's in very good shape atm for whatever reason.
There was some talk over the winter about UAE wanting to beat the wins record that they were close to last season, so had some riders i.e Morgado, Christen, Narvaez doing proper camps at the start to rack up early wins in easier races. Perhaps he's paying the price for it now, though he has always been very inconsistent.

Would not be uncommon for a virus to be going around the peloton this time of year.

Either that, or Jakobsen's thievery is contagious.
Some of them may also just be making the numbers at the start and save themselves for the rest of the week.

Makes sense, especially if you're not near the top of the pecking order.
