Just in case anyone is interested; I recently noticed that our government (Canada) provides historical data for all the weather stations across the country. I thought that was really cool and put together a mini project to use that data. The summary is that the data was used as part of an indirect method to show warming of the Canadian climate. Without being able to state the *amount* of change, I found that all of Canada has gotten warmer in the last century to be certain with p = 10^-117. That means there's zero chance that Canada hasn't gotten warmer.

Anyways, here's a link to the summary report and enough data plus code for anyone who wants to reproduce the results.

Just in case anyone cares... Out of curiosity, I re-ran my scripts. Since I first posted, 7 stations (out of 1150) have posted record cold weather, and 22 have posted record warm weather.

So there you have it. Canada wide climate warming.
