In the same sort of bracket, but I think Cofidis had hoped for more. Ion and Teuns seems to really struggle however.

Their luck that Arkea folds and Total could follow suit next year. Still not desperate to reform and perform, they will always get an invite to the Tour.

Things are tough at Cofidis but it's not all doom and gloom. As many have done before, they're following in Vino's footsteps in Asia for UCI points and concentrating on French races. Another step is hiring a mental coach, who also dabbles in hypnosis and magnetism, so if you see guys suddenly riding along making chicken noises, or with bits of cutlery, nails and odd bits of iron stuck on their jerseys then you'll know why.
