I actually thought maybe theyd roped in Alice Towers or something, as my mind was doing mental gymnastics like well normally it would be Dani Christmas doing that stuff and she was a DS at Canyon SRAM last year, so maybe she hooked it up with Alice who isnt racing in this race and she sounded really young, and not like Alice Barnes.

yeah couldnt work out who she was either I knew it wasnt Jose,but its harder to pay attention to when youre supposed to be working.

Is Jose better than Jo though ? both seem to have picked up Martys worst habits. like there was a classic bit where Alice was talking about the 3km rule, and Jo 20 seconds later said dont forget about the 3km rule Alice , so clearly not paying attention.

if only she'd inflected his name correctly in the proper accent at the start we'd have known

he didnt sound that Welsh to me, sounded more northern, like Lancashire, if I had to guess, which I accept places like Chester are basically Welsh adjacent

just checked again, and I think she says "Jon Mould". PCS lists him as from Newport, so Wales would fit. He mentioned it when talking about the sheep.

I wont go ambient sound in the UAE tour but when the serious racing starts @the delgados - We all know when to tune out. The man is so full of himself.
