watching a T i z stream of Paris Roubaix..
what's with this Cox/Hutch/Rowsell B-team commentary?... same as Flanders last week.
is there a Robbie/Sean A-team stream i'm missing out on, or is this the new crappy normal on TNT?

So we got a good range of commentar recently, I think Declan Quigley is now my favourite lead commentato apart from Matt Stephens, watching Pais Vasco was my first time having to endue CK this season, he hasn't got any better. You could tell his analyst was a bit confused by his nonsense at times, was it Stephen Cummings?

There is a deal on L'Equipe at the moment where you can subscribe for €3.99 per month and it provides access to the french Eurosport 1 and 2 channels. After 6 months it increases to €10.99 then after a year to the full cost of €14.99. If you're not in France it may not be possible to take this deal.

HBO Max is providing two streams for the Giro...the normal broadcast and also multiscreen option.
I think they did last year too, but I had completely forgotten about it.

Discovery+ did multi screen yes, though from what i remember of it people complained about it taking the ad free stream spot and the choice of cameras was a tad random iirc. I tried watching it for a stage but gave up last time. Might see if they've improved it but its trying to find the time really

The multi screen version is vastly improved from the early versions.

Now you can see the time gaps and distance to go info regularly and it’s been a particularly useful experience in the last 2 stages where the attrition at the back was more noteworthy than action off the front of the peloton on the main climb of the day.

It didn’t have commentary before but now is fully synced in with the TV broadcast on TNT but no adverts. Still feel ripped off compared to a year and a half ago but this is a service improvement.

Unfortunately not the first time its happened, propably not the last.
I think its when the just use end time stamps per the schedule and not package up the program in its own right as I watched the later Giro highlights last night and couldn't work out how they were were fitting it in to the time slot, then it overran but the epg said it was tour of Hungary at the time, so if youd recorded i think youd have got the same experience plus a bit of the giro, so i bet the last 13km happened past the scheduled end time

I'm sure you are correct, pretty shoddy I call it.

I'm sure that is what happened: it is entirely unprofessionsal, proves that they put absolutely no care or even human intervention into it, and indicates utter contempt for customers.

I think he's got a broken foot.

yeah, it was so stupid because they asked him to explain how it happened on the breakaway the other day, and all we got was apparently he was out shopping, because they kept interrupting him so much, he never actually said how he did it.

but stress fracture of a metatarsal, or the Beckham as we say in the UK. so he will be seated for a while
