AWP has a chance to redeem himself a bit this week. And Finn was starting to look good before breaking his wrist in an unfortunate crash. Bisiaux is doing ok.

AWP, Omrzel, Widar, Finn, Torres all doing somewhere between mediocre and awful so far. Nordhagen is not the norm this season, and it's not like he's an earth-shattering pick at this stage.
284 points for a price of 1390 for those five guys at the moment. None of them at even 30% of their score yet. There are mitigating circumstances but I'd argue they've all been awful for the moment. You could add Seixas to that group and collectively they wouldn't even come close to breaking even, that's how awful they have been.

A couple other less heralded young guys (Grisel, L'Hote, Crabbe, Crozzollo, Magagnotti, etc.) have been doing fine though.

Pescador and De Schuyteneer too, but yeah the top guys have been very underwhelming.
I always thought it was a year too early for Finn, with him riding for the devo team and wanting to show the rainbow jersey.
AWP and Omrzel will be fine in my opinion: not game changing picks but neither a total disaster. I'm more worried about Widar and Torres.

Widar has had injuries and Torres is still not mentally recovered after the crash. AWP was also unlucky with crashes and now Finn too. These young guys do crash alot, and that is where the risk is. Omrzel should pick up some points in Hungary and Slovenia, but I did not pick him as i believed his last year points tally was too high.

But still, when they ride, they really look very promising !

My late bloomers shciffer and gaffuri have showed a good level on the last few weeks. Both around 20th in romandie. I hope they both do more lower level races in the next part of the season

Pelayo Sanchez on the startlist for Asturias!
he even finished the race, and got another chance to break even in Frankfurt today.

Jakobsen is around as well, although with an even lower chance to score
